🌸 Wealthy Wednesday: The Wealth of Celebration 🌸

The richest moments in life aren't always earned—they're experienced.

As I write today's Wealthy Wednesday, I'm sitting beneath the trees at our campsite overlooking the peaceful waters of Woodward Reservoir.

The lake is calm.

The breeze is gentle.

My little boat rests on the shore after another morning on the water.

And today, we are celebrating someone very dear to my heart...

My sister's birthday.

One of my favorite stories is that she gave birth to her son—the day before her own birthday. Every year, they get to celebrate life together, and this year I have the privilege of being here with them. As his godmother, my heart is full watching them laugh, play, and create memories together.

Over the past couple of days we've gone boating, fishing, swimming, played countless rounds of Mahjong, roasted s'mores around the campfire, watched breathtaking sunsets, and last night stood in awe as the moon reflected across the still waters of the lake.

And it reminded me of something we often forget...

This is wealth.

Not because it's extravagant.

Not because everything is perfect.

But because I am fully present with the people I love.

As someone who helps women heal their relationship with money, I've learned that wealth isn't only measured by the balance in our bank accounts.

It's measured by our ability to receive.

To receive joy.

To receive love.

To receive connection.

To receive rest.

To receive beauty.

To receive the gift of the present moment.

So often we tell ourselves,

"I'll celebrate when I make more money."

"I'll slow down after I reach my next goal."

"I'll spend more time with family when life isn't so busy."

But what if celebration isn't something we postpone?

What if celebration is one of the very practices that creates abundance?

Gratitude gently shifts our nervous system out of striving and into receiving.

Celebration reminds our hearts that life is already offering us so much.

And from that place, we become more open to receiving even more—more love, more opportunities, more peace, and yes... more financial abundance.

As I look across the water this morning, I feel incredibly grateful.

Grateful for my sister.

Grateful for another year of her beautiful life.

Grateful for my godson.

Grateful for family.

Grateful for memories that no amount of money could ever buy.

Because that is a kind of wealth that lasts forever.

Lesson

Financial abundance is important.

But the purpose of building wealth is to create a life rich in connection, presence, freedom, and celebration.

Don't wait until someday to enjoy the life you're working so hard to create.

Celebrate along the way.

Spend time together.

Or simply tell them how much they mean to you.

Every celebration expands the heart.

And an open heart is one of the greatest magnets for abundance.
