🌸 Wealthy Wednesday: Your Capacity to Hold Wealth 🌸
Making more money and being able to hold more wealth are not always the same thing.
Beautiful Soul,
We spend so much time talking about how to create more.
More income.
More clients.
More opportunities.
More abundance.
But there is another question that I believe is just as important:
How much abundance do you actually feel safe holding?
Because receiving money is one thing.
Keeping it, managing it, enjoying it, investing it, circulating it wisely—and allowing yourself to feel safe while doing so—is something entirely different.
This is what I call your capacity for wealth.
And sometimes, the next level of your financial life isn't about learning how to manifest more.
It's about expanding your ability to receive and hold what is already trying to come to you.
Wealth Has a Nervous System Component
Think about what happens when something financially wonderful occurs.
You receive an unexpected check.
A new client says yes.
You get a raise.
Your business has its best month yet.
Someone offers you an opportunity bigger than anything you've experienced before.
At first, you might feel excited.
But then something interesting can happen.
Your nervous system may begin asking:
Is this safe?
Can I really have this?
What if I lose it?
What if people expect more from me now?
What if I make the wrong decision?
What if this doesn't last?
And without realizing it, we may begin finding ways to return to what feels familiar.
We overspend.
We undercharge.
We procrastinate on the opportunity.
We give too much away.
We avoid looking at our numbers.
Or we immediately start worrying about losing what we just received.
This doesn't necessarily mean we don't want wealth.
It may simply mean that our capacity to receive has expanded faster than our capacity to feel safe holding it.
And that distinction matters.
Wealth Isn't Only About Expansion
One of the things I teach women about creating sustainable wealth is that abundance needs both expansion and containment.
We need the openness to receive.
And we need the structures to hold what we receive.
Think of water.
Without a container, water simply flows away.
Money can behave similarly.
You can become incredibly skilled at generating income, but without supportive habits, boundaries, financial structures, and nervous-system capacity, that money may never become lasting wealth.
This is where our Wealth Superpowers work beautifully together.
Your Goddess helps you receive.
Your Warrior creates the structures, boundaries, and stewardship to hold what you receive.
And your Creator helps you trust that wealth is not a finite resource—that you can continue creating new possibilities.
Receiving without structure can become chaos.
Structure without receiving can become control.
But when the two work together?
Wealth begins to feel both expansive and safe.
Your Wealth Capacity Can Grow
The beautiful thing is that your capacity for wealth is not fixed.
It can expand.
Just as your body becomes stronger when you gradually increase what it can carry, your nervous system can become more comfortable with greater levels of receiving.
Sometimes that practice begins with money.
But sometimes it begins somewhere much simpler.
Receiving a compliment without minimizing it.
Accepting help without immediately trying to repay it.
Resting without feeling guilty.
Enjoying something beautiful without wondering whether you've "earned" it.
Allowing money to remain in your bank account without immediately finding something to spend it on.
Celebrating an accomplishment before rushing toward the next goal.
These may seem like small things.
But each one teaches your body:
It is safe for me to have.
It is safe for me to receive.
It is safe for good things to stay.
And that is an entirely different relationship with abundance.
Lesson
Creating wealth isn't only about increasing the amount of money flowing into your life.
It is also about increasing your capacity to receive, hold, steward, enjoy, and circulate abundance without immediately returning to old patterns of fear or scarcity.
Sometimes your next financial breakthrough doesn't require you to work harder.
It requires you to become a safer home for the wealth you're already creating.
Invitation
Today, look at one area of your life where you are already receiving more than you used to.
Maybe it's money.
Maybe it's opportunities.
Maybe it's support.
Maybe it's love, rest, visibility, recognition, or joy.
Instead of immediately asking,
"How do I get more?"
Try asking:
"How can I become more comfortable holding what I already have?"
Notice what comes up.
Then choose one small action that tells your nervous system:
This abundance is safe with me.
Wealthy Wednesday Reflection
If more wealth arrived in your life today, what part of you would feel excited—and what part of you might feel uncomfortable holding it?
What would that part of you need in order to feel safer?
Mantra
"It is safe for me to receive. It is safe for me to hold. I lovingly expand my capacity for greater wealth, joy, and abundance."
